About the Program
United DFC's "Sevens" soccer program promises an abundance of excitement as our U7 players dive into the joy of playing games.The program consists of one skill development practice a week with a fun ‘festival’ or ‘game night’ every second practice. Festival nights will see players engaging in small-sided 3v3 games against other teams from our club. The Sevens program serves as a transitional year for players, acting as a bridge between our U6 Mini program and the decision to join either the U8/9 Community or U8 Skill Centers program. This exciting intermediate step accommodates both beginners and experienced players, allowing them to make informed choices for u8/9 based on their availability, interests, and commitment levels.
Additionally, throughout the season, players can look forward to special events like Soccermania and Soccer by the Sea in addition to our weekly practices. United DFC’s approach prioritizes skill enhancement, personal growth, and, above all, a fun and inclusive soccer experience for everyone involved.

Note: Tim Hortons sponsors this program and a uniform will be provided for free.
Player Selection Policy
Open registration. All Welcome
Training & Games
U7 will have 1 practice and 1 game night each week on Monday/Wednesday, or Tuesday/Thursday (depending on field choice)
Start time - 6:55 -7:50 pm
On game nights, both games will be played at the same location.
Sessions: 55 minutes

Cole Harbour High- Tues/ Thurs (6:55-7:50 pm)
Dartmouth High - Mon/Wed (6:55-7:50 pm)
Eastern Passage, Seaside - Tuesday/ Thursday (6:55-7:50 pm)
Portland Estates - Mon/Wed (6:55-7:50 pm)

June 2nd: Sessions begin (pending fields opening June 1)

Coaches
Summer staff will support volunteer and parent coaches who will coach each team. The club will provide session plans and set up to ensure consistency and keep things simple for volunteers.
To Register
To register open your United DFC RAMP account. Under SEASON choose 2025 Summer. Under DIVISION choose the appropriate age group and gender. You will be shown location choices when you enter your division. If you are considering coaching, please register as a coach/staff in your RAMP account. This option can be found on the RAMP registration portal dashboard.
