Mix 96.5 – Coats for a Cause – UPDATE!!

Our coats for a Cause was a great success!

UDFC collected more than 100 coats to donate for the Mix 96.5 Coats for a Cause!

Thank you to everyone who donated, you have made a huge difference in someone’s life and made this cold winter a little warmer.

UDFC

As our friends at Mix 96.5 say, the season of giving never stops!

We would like to invite all of our United DFC family, along with friends, to help us support a great, local cause.

By supporting Coats for a Cause with Mix 96-5, we can help so many more people stay warm this winter.

All coats will go to Parker Street Food & Furniture Bank to help those in need this winter. And for every coat turned in, Casino Nova Scotia will donate $5 per coat, up to a max of $5000!

Donate your old winter coat, or pick up a new one! Winter hats, gloves, mittens, scarves and socks are also great ideas that would not be turned away!

Coats can be dropped off from now until Friday, Jan 25th at the United DFC office

All donations collected will be brought to the live Coats for a Cause event on Saturday, January 26th from 10 am to 3 pm at Mic Mac Mall.

Let’s help Mix 96.5 keep the season of giving going.  We thank you!

United DFC is heading back to Moose Country!

Earlier this year, during our first season as a new club, over 400 United DFC players and family members gathered at the Scotiabank Centre to enjoy an awesome evening of fun, bonding and QMJHL hockey.

We introduced our brand new logo to all of Moose Country and showed the thousands in attendance just how excited and proud we were to be part of the UDFC family.

This season, we are going to show Moose Country how much MORE excited and proud we are!

Please join us on Friday, February 8th, 2019, for our 2nd Annual United DFC – Mooseheads Family Event. Everyone is invited – we have lots of seats!

The Halifax Mooseheads will be facing off against the Acadie-Bathurst Titan at 7:00pm.

Tickets for this event are only $11.00 per person (all ages are the same price) and can be purchased at the United DFC office during regular hours.

Tickets can be purchased individually, as a group, or as a team.  Please note: Team orders will only be organized at the discretion of each team’s coach and/or manager.  Team orders are NOT mandatory.

Don’t forget to wear your United DFC spirit gear to the hockey game! Don’t have any, yet? Check out our awesome in-stock selection while you are in ordering your tickets!

Seat selection will be on a first come, first serve basis.

We are also selling 50/50 tickets – $2/each or 3 for $5 – which will be available for purchase at the office when you buy your Mooseheads ticket(s).  The draw will take place at the office on February 8th, and the winner will be announced that evening at the game.

We hope to see you there!

Go United, Go!  Go Moose, Go!
