Adam Miller, Director of Soccer
A native of Swindon, England, Adam trained and played between the goal posts with Reading FC, Southampton FC and Swindon Town FC. He moved to Nova Scotia in 2010 when he was recruited by the St Mary’s University Huskies. This team went on to capture AUS championship banners and USport bronze and silver medals (2010 and 2011).
After two years as the Academy Director at Dartmouth United Soccer Club, Adam became the Director of Coaching for Harbour East District Soccer Association in 2016. He is a past Assistant Coach for the SMU Women’s soccer team, and currently is Assistant Coach of the SMU Men’s Soccer team.
Adam is a National B licensed coach. United DFC is excited to have his leadership, passion and love of the game leading the technical staff, coaching education and player development of our club.

Zach Bauld, Skill Centre Director
Zach comes to United DFC after six years as the Technical Director of Dartmouth United Soccer Club, where he successfully grew player development programs from grassroots to performance. Zach is a National B Licence coach.
During his youth, Zach played provincial level soccer and now coaches the U13 boys provincial team. His successful career with the St. Mary’s Huskies (playing alongside Adam Miller and coached by Mesut Mert) earned AUS titles and USport medals (bronze and silver) in 2010 and 2011. Zach is currently an Assistant Coach with the SMU Men’s team.
Zach’s main role with United DFC will be working with our Skill Centre players and coaches, focusing on developing their skills and love for the game!

Mesut Mert, High Performance Director
United DFC is pleased to welcome Mesut Mert to the Dartmouth soccer community. Mesut joins our club after 5 years as the Director of Player and Coach Development at Suburban FC.
Mesut is the Head Coach of the St Mary’s Huskies Men’s Soccer team, following a long term run as assistant coach to the program. During his 5 years as a player for the Huskies from 1999 – 2003, he was an AUS Rookie of the Year, and a 2-time CIS Player of the Year. He was also a two-time SMU Male Athlete of the Year and a member of the Canadian University Games Soccer Team in 2003/2004. Mesut played professionally with the Calgary Mustangs and Montreal Impact from 2004 through 2007.
Mesut is a National B License coach and will be focussing on the development of our Performance level players and coaches.
