|Under 8C teams may choose to attend “jamborees” which are 3-4 games played on a weekend. (Usually Soccermania in July and/or Soccer by the Sea in August – more details to follow.)|
* While the club and coaches still place an emphasis on player development and competition, it is not generally expected that players will make soccer their first priority. However, out of respect for the volunteer coaches and the other players on the team, it is expected that U8C Community players will be at games and practices unless they have let the coach know (with reasonable notice) that they will be absent.
** There will be some involvement with Staff coaches, but to a lesser extent than the U8 Prospects program.

|LEAGUE START||There is no league. U8A games take place at the weekend jamborees on grass throughout HRM.
There is no additional fee to attend these jamborees.

|COMMITMENT||U8 Prospects has a strong focus on skill development and fundamental movement skills. Players are expected to attend as much as they can. **|
|COACHES||Head coach of U8A program will be a club staff member or appropriately qualified volunteer.|
|Jamborees take place on weekends. Families choose which weekend jamborees they wish to attend. Attendance at all jamborees is not expected.|
* In exceptional cases it may be recommended that a player move into the Community program if the Director of Soccer feels the child would be more successful at this level.
