With mixed emotions, we inform you that Fawn Mulholland will be stepping down from her role as Director of Soccer as of May 9, 2025. Fawn has been an integral part of UDFC, and her contributions have been critical in positively shaping the experiences of players, coaches, managers, and parents during her time with the club.
Fawn has played a key role in UDFC’s development. Notable achievements include supporting the growth of our membership base, diversifying programming, and enhancing volunteer recognition through initiatives such as the UDFC Annual Awards Evening. She has also made a significant impact on coach education by supporting our coaches in obtaining their national-level licenses. Additionally, she was a driving force behind She Can Coach, an innovative Canada Soccer program focused on the recruitment, development, and retention of female coaches.
Fawn’s leadership extended to introducing new programming, such as the UDFC Rising Leaders youth coaching program, and integrating sports science and mental performance support into our high-performance programs.
While we are saddened by Fawn’s departure, we are deeply grateful for her leadership and dedication to shaping the experiences of all those who consider UDFC their community. We extend a heartfelt thank you to Fawn and look forward to seeing her continue to make a positive impact in the spaces she chooses to engage with in the future.
UDFC remains committed to finding a suitable candidate who can continue driving the development of our players and coaches. We will provide updates as we begin the search for new leadership to advance our soccer development strategy.
