Scholarships

United DFC greatly values its members, and in that spirit, we are proud to offer the 2026 United DFC Scholarships.

These scholarships recognize six students from the United DFC community school areas: Auburn Drive, Cole Harbour High, Dartmouth High, École secondaire Mosaïque, Islandview, and Woodlawn.

Six scholarships, valued at $500 each, are available and will be awarded based on the strength of the applications received. Recipients may attend any of the community schools listed above, as scholarships are not assigned by school.

To be eligible, applicants must be a past or current United DFC member (player, volunteer, or staff) and must be entering full-time post-secondary studies for the first time in September 2026, whether at a university, college, or trade school.

United DFC and RE/MAX are also proud to continue honoring Carrie Knowlton-Trider with a scholarship for the Class of 2026. The Carrie Knowlton-Trider Scholarship, also valued at $500, will be awarded to a current club member who is female or identifies as female and who has volunteered with United DFC within the past 12 months. This recipient will be selected from eligible applicants within the overall UDFC scholarship applicant pool.

The application form for the UDFC 2026 scholarships is HERE.

Applicants must make a copy of the form and complete and email it as a PDF file to awards@udfc.ca on or before May 22nd, 2026.
