Land Acknowledgement
United Dartmouth Football Club acknowledges that we live, work and play on the ancestral and unceded territory of the Mi’kmaq people. This territory is covered by the Treaties of Peace and Friendship which the Mi’kmaq people first signed with the British Crown in 1725. In light of this history and understanding a role as Treaty People, may we dedicate ourselves to moving forward in the spirit of partnership, collaboration, and reconciliation, as we learn together and contemplate the possibilities that lay ahead.
