United DFC Spotlight

Congratulations to Jade DeSouza, Annie Walsh, Eva Malcolm, Amelia Tucker, Violet DeSouza, Taylor Tasco, Charlotte Cyr, Isabelle Garand, and Jordyn Conrad on making Acadian Games history!

These girls were part of the first-ever Nova Scotia team to win gold in soccer at the 45th Acadian Games Grand Finals in Edmundston, after earning their spot by winning the regional banner in Nova Scotia.

Mini Program Registration

Mini Program registration is now closed for the summer season. Thank you to everyone who registered - we’re excited for a great summer on the field!

Policy Spotlight: Concussion Protocol

We’re starting a weekly Policy Spotlight as a summer refresher for players, families, coaches, and team staff.

This week’s focus is concussion protocol. If a concussion is suspected, remove the player from play right away. When in doubt, sit them out.

Goalkeeper Clinic Opportunity

A goalkeeper-specific two-day clinic hosted by Motive Athletics is taking place in Halifax this August.

The clinic is expected to include Marco Carducci of the Halifax Wanderers, along with other college or professional coaches. This could be a great opportunity for goalkeepers to experience a focused training environment and learn from different coaching perspectives.

If you have not received an update about a field closure or practice cancellation, you can check the latest field status by calling 311 or checking the website. United DFC will continue to share known closures as we receive them.

HFX Tides Game - July 5

There is still time to purchase tickets for the Halifax Tides FC game on Sunday, July 5.

Tickets are available in Section 107 for $20. Use the link here to purchase.
