How much do you know about Safe Sport?
United DFC has policies for Safe Sport, Athlete Protection and our Code of Conduct which can be found on our website. We hope to better educate our members in best practices from our Provincial and National Sports Organizations which make the sporting experience safe for all.
This week, we highlight one of the important Safe Sport guidelines in Create a Quality Sport Environment . Read about this guidance from our National Sports Organizations which mandates safe interactions for players and coaches.
Fire and Power Outage Protocol
Parents need to make sure that the players are dressed warm enough for the practices at ECV and at School Gyms. In the event of a power outage at any of the HRCE schools, any persons in the building are to evacuate. This will possibly be in the middle of practice before any parents are there to pick their players up; so we want to ensure that they are warm if this ever happens.
