Pool Party for Winter Members

Celebrate the success of our winter season with UDFC at our upcoming Giant Pool Party! This fantastic event will take place at the Dartmouth Zatsman Sportsplex, exclusively for winter players and their families. Mark your calendars for Sunday, March 10th, from 4 to 5 pm, and dive into the excitement of a free pool party with your teammates.

We've reserved a significant portion of the pool area, including the small pool, slide area, and ropes, ensuring a fun-filled experience for everyone. Families with youth under 9 are asked to attend as the sportsplex requires adults in the water with children under 9. Siblings are welcome as long as they are supervised by parents. Our staff and volunteers will be present in the change rooms and on deck, ensuring a safe and enjoyable environment.

We invite you to bring your entire team to join in the festivities and commemorate an outstanding season together. To help us coordinate a safe event, PLEASE fill out the attached form ASAP. This will enable us to hire the appropriate number of lifeguards, ensuring the well-being of all attendees. Don't miss out on this opportunity to celebrate and make a splash at the UDFC Giant Pool Party!

No Charge Event, must RSVP by March 1st.

Unified Soccer

United DFC is thrilled to announce the launch of our Unified Soccer Program this spring. Unified Sports brings together individuals with and without intellectual disabilities, fostering friendship and understanding through shared training and play experiences.

Our program aims to create inclusive teams, with members of similar age and ability, enhancing the enjoyment of practices and elevating the excitement of games for everyone involved. By uniting people through the common bond of sports, we aim to break down preconceptions and dispel false ideas.

As we prepare to implement this initiative, we are actively seeking volunteers to assist in running the program. We are also extending an invitation to teens (15+) and adults who are enthusiastic about joining as athletes. If you share our passion for promoting inclusivity and fostering connections through sports, we encourage you to be part of this transformative journey with us. The program is scheduled to run in March and April, and your support will contribute to creating a positive and welcoming environment for all participants.

To express your interest in participating in United DFC's Spring "Unified" program in March/April, please complete the following form. While specific details are yet to be determined, everyone who fills out this form will be contacted by the end of February. Please note that although we will make every effort to accommodate as many participants as possible, there may be limitations on capacity.

TENTATIVE Spring Assessment Schedule

Below is the U12 - 18 tentative assessment schedule. All sessions will be held at ECV. Please note this may change.

Players interested in these programs will be required to register for the Spring 2024 Assessment Clinic before assessments are held. There will be a fee of $15 to register. *Please note that assessment registration is not registration for your player’s program or team.

Once players have been evaluated and team placement decided, programs will become available for registration and players will be sent a password which will enable them to register for their program. Players cannot be assigned to a team unless they have registered first. Registration for assessments is now open.

Registration FAQ’s

Q: "Do I need to attend assessments if I want to play A and there is no B division?"

A: Yes, all players hoping to play at AA or A need to sign up for the assessments. AA sessions will be used to select the most competitive group of players while A sessions will be used to appropriately separate players into teams.

Q: "Why is there a cost to register for assessments?"

A: The funds collected for player assessments will go directly towards covering the turf expense incurred to host these assessments.

Q: “For Players doing Assessments for the A group -  what do they do about registration? Do they register for B in case they do not get into A?”

A: They will automatically have a spot in B. If a player would like a spot in A or B they should register for assessments and we will put everyone where they belong. If they only want B they should register for B.

Q: “If I am registering for spring assessments, should I be registering for both the A and AA or do I just choose one, the highest level my child would be assessed for?”

A: Register your player for the highest level they would like to be assessed for.
